I just got mine and am VERY Happy. This is the complete package that includes the applicator, the software, and a HUGE amount of stickers(for the cds as well as jewel case inserts. This is a great price and you get it directly from Amazon, so you get it quickly and you get the great costumer service. Again this IS The COMPLETE system, This is a great product. Five Stars all around!
Very nice product November 16, 2000 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I think this is as good as it gets. The software is good, the label applicator is second to none and the learn time should be around an hour. What I do is hit the coversite.com to get my labels then use the picture tool to paste the pic over the template then hit print. The kit comes with plenty of cd labels to last for awhile and a handful of jewel case inserts as well. Replacement labels can be bought from the stomp site and is not as expensive one might think. You cant go wrong with this one. As always, check for software updates. There is one for this. Also have a good printer. I have the HP 900c for around $200 is great. I had the 600c which was terrible compared to my new one.
Good program December 13, 2003 Gustave N. (Maine, United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've been using this program for a couple months now and came to Amazon to look for label refils, and I happened across this page with some really bad reviews. I just wanted to add my two cents. I haven't had problem one since I used this program. I, too, am using Win XP. Photo browswer works fine. No crashes. Interfaces with XP with great awesominity. I dunno what the deal is. They might have come up with a newer version of the software. I'm using 4.8.23 and it works just hunky dory. I import my own graphics after I make them, although 'import' makes it some complex. All I do is browse for it and it's there. Anyway, works great.
Don't believe what you read... the FREE software is GREAT January 15, 2007 Otto Kubik (Los Angeles, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been using the free version of software for years, and find it to be great. I didn't encounter any of the install issues noted, work in a Windows XP Pro environment, and it has been flawless. Because I went directly to the web and downloaded it, perhaps the issues were resolved. Don't forget, the shelf life for paper is a LONG time... In order to receive the latest version of software requires a download, so go directly there and get it. In fact, this way you can try it before buying.
I suppose there is a newer version available than the 4.8.23 I use, but who needs it? This version is sufficiently feature rich for most users. I do NOT use their canned label formats and create my own, customized for each CD/DVD I burn. Maybe these folks have other system or user knowledge issues? I don't think it's the software. I admit composition is a challenge initially, but once you learn the software, it is really pretty flexible. After all, knowledge is power. This is true in all things.
Quick Easy Install and Great Results August 3, 2004 Lora Brinkman (Missouri) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have been using this for over a year now and have no complaints. It realy is simple to install (Windows XP Home) and use. I have tried other products and this far surpasses them. I love the templates they give you. It helps to know exactly what the label will look like. Just wish I wasn't wasting so much on the paper since I only use the CD/DVD Labels. The 3.5" labels are getting pitched.. trying to think of something to use those for. lol..
