Casio GSDX Deluxe Keyboard Stand August 14, 2005 S. O'Neil (Columbus, Ohio) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This was a Great deal. Easy to install and works Great! It is very sturdy and perfect for our Casio keyboard.
***The screws are already in place in the stand, when it arrives. You have to unscrew them, then connect it together...It is NOT HARD to figure out! All of these people who complain about the screws not being there...YES THEY ARE...LOOK FOR THEM!!
Not So Bad.... February 14, 2007 Roger J. Hart (california) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I got (2) of these stands with a couple of Yamaha CP-33 pianos; basically, as free add-ons. I have a couple of Professional welded dual-X stands already, so I believe that I'm in a position to make a fair comparison.
Assembly was not really a problem. It took me about 30-40 minutes or so to put both of them together; and I work SLOW. I agree with others that the included written instructions are a little bit confusing/not much help, but if you lay the parts out ahead of time, mentally think the process through/study the instruction's pictures, you'll probably be just fine. They logically go together, but my advice: TAKE YOUR TIME. Think the process through.
I should also tell you that the second stand definitely went together faster and easier then the first.
Once together, I used (1) to support a Yamaha CP-33 (about 40 pounds; 88-keys) in a stand-up Church performance situation. No real complaints; although overall, it's not as stable as either of my other dual-X's. A little bit of rocking, true; but nothing unmanageable. My guess is that for home use, sitting down (with it's center of gravity lowered, and it's "feet" further apart), it should work well; although you might hit the stand's legs with your knees! Try sitting in front of one assembled before you buy it, if at all possible.
Well, that's about it! Not much to the stand, really. But I would say that for the money, you'll probably not be able to do much better. That's why I'll give it a *5*.
It's fine....
Excellent! February 19, 2005 pauiel 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I didn't experience any problems at all with this product! It only took a short time to set up, and is very sturdy! I bought it with the PSR-175 keyboard through amazon.com.
(I'm not sure how much I'd trust others who "were missing screws or parts" in their reviews...I'd just advise you to open the package carefully, and to do it in an open space, so you can't lose anything)
Excellent April 17, 2005 hcbilling (Florida) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After reading the other reviews I was expecting problems with delivary. But the box the stand came in was packed into a big shipping box, full of protective packaging material. It was in perfect condition.
The instructions are confusing, but I put it together without the diagram and it only took a few minutes and some common sense. (The screws are screwed into the ends of each leg.)
Overall I was very pleased. I have small children and the stand is stable enough for even the 2 year old to use it.
Excellent product December 1, 2006 Galactic Spiral 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I received the stand with all pieces in the box. The assembly was easy and very logical to understand. The instruction manual would be difficult for most people. But since when do you need instructions for something as simple as this? The stand is sturdy, so it should last a long time. I've had it for three months (I use an 88 key keyboard) and I'm satisfied.
