| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Karaoke Sing-n-Burn plays back MIDI and .kar music files (widely available on the Internet) while you sing along or play your instrument. Change the pitch and speed to suit your voice or instrument, and change the instrumentation and volume of each track to make your own musical arrangements. You can record your performance and burn it to CD or export it to your iPod.
Karaoke Sing-n-Burn is a first-class tool for learning a song or an inner part. Do you want to practice with the melody line until you've got it down? Shut it off when you're ready to play it alone. Is the music going too fast? You can slow it down. Is it too high for your voice? You can lower the pitch. Quality is not affected by these changes.
Standard Karaoke players use audio recorded onto a CD or made into an MP3 or .WAV file. This makes it difficult to change the tempo and the key. Karaoke Sing-n-Burn uses your sound card's built-in MIDI synthesizer to provide the accompaniment. You can play the song in your key and at your tempo, mute any track, and set the volume and instrument of each track exactly the way you want it.
MIDI files are available all over the Internet. Learn your part to the Messiah in time for Christmas! Practice playing with accompaniment to get your rhythm correct. Record yourself with accompaniment and play it back to check your intonation. Slow the accompaniment down to work out hard sections.

| Customer Reviews: Great Way to Learn a Song May 1, 2008 Island Rose 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am learning the Irish fiddle but I'm not good enough to play with other people yet. All the CDs are too fast to play along with. This program lets me play along with MIDI versions of Irish songs at my own speed, and speed the song up as I learn it. I can turn off the melody, too, when I have the song memorized. It's really fun!
