easy March 5, 2009 Evan Mcewen 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had other recording software, but Magix gives the best bang for the buck by far. I highly recommend it to musicians.
Great easy to use recording program May 15, 2009 Mark Turpin (Las Vegas, NV) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I replaced pro tools with this software, because I was looking for something easier to use and have been surprised by how much this software will do. It is definitely worth the money and extremely easy to pick up on. The instructions are excellent as well. I definitely recommend this.
Good Program September 3, 2009 Scott A. Payne (vtqo2058) I have used this program for a few projects in school. It is easy to use and fun.
Nice For Home Recording! April 25, 2010 Todd S. I bought this product because I wanted to be able to record live music in my "music room". I was looking for a cheap program that would allow me to do multi-track recording at a cheap price. This product does just that.
I had to couple it to a $40 MXL impedence changer. This takes a standard microphone, and allows you to interface with your computer via USB.
The program doesn't come with a hardcopy of instruction, but does a decent job of educating you internally. If you're not real computer or recording savey, you may find it a little cumbersome. However... you're probably going to have to be a little savey to record your stuff on any program.
I'm very pleased with what this program offers for the money.
Didn't Work on My (Brand New) Dell XPS M1530 (Vista 64-bit)! August 5, 2009 A-LEX-ANDER THE GREAT (Brooklyn, NY) I ordered this software, because it was the cheapest version of Magix I've found anywhere ($10.49 + S&H). I've used an older version (2005) in another home studio I used to record all my music at before I built my own home studio (hence this purchase). The program itself is easy to use and I like it. Unfortunately, it would upload the software but as soon as I went to open the program my computer would freeze. It couldn't have been my laptop, because it was fairly new (2 months old) and I'm not a downloader who clogs up the desktop with all types of files/programs. I uninstalled it a few times and tried again but only to get the same result. I did get it to upload on the Toshiba (Vista 32-bit) and Dell Inspiron 1150 (Windows XP) without a problem. So, I've been using those 2 so far when recording on that program, but I wished it worked on all.
