A library of percussive sounds that will appeal to musicians, writers and producers in every musical genre in need of EZ access to great drums.
EZX-s are expansion packs for dfh EZdrummer featuring drums and percussion sound banks to be used with the basic EZD module. They also contain additional MIDI files to offer you even more choice building your tracks.
The sounds are tweaked with specific genres in mind and recorded by top producers. When loading an EZX an interactive picture of the drumkit contained in that expansion will appear in the main window of EZD and allow all the prelistening and construction features specific to that particular expansion.
To access an EZX expansion preinstalled on your computer click the EZX display in the main window. If you have installed one or more EZX a pull down menu will reveal the available options.
The Nashville EZX takes the traditional country heart of Nashville as a starting point but branches out to become something bigger. A library of percussive sounds that will appeal to musicians, writers and producers in every musical genre in need of EZ access to great drums. The EZX has a big sound and comes played with sticks, brushes and fingers. In creating the Nashville EZX we were lucky to work with two of the best, most experienced players and producers in the business at one of the best recording venues in Nashville.
Harry Stinson is a Grammy nominated drummer and award winning producer, writer, and singer having achieved No. 1 status in all of those categories. His talents have been shared with artists like Steve Earle, Martina McBride, Johnny Cash, Faith Hill, Earl Scruggs, Etta James, Brooks and Dunn, Patty Loveless, Lyle Lovett and numerous others.

The kits sound awesome. Room mic is sweet, sounds great solo'd too. Lots of snare options and cymbal options. Nice kicks. Overall, this thing is great. If you have EZDrummer, don't hesitate to get this. For under eighty bucks you can't go wrong.

I've been taking advantage of the promo that Toontrack has been running (see their site, if it's still August 2009 when you're reading this), and picked up the Funkmasters EZX as well as the Nashville EZX recently. I own EZDrummer and Superior, and also the Jazz EZX.
Superior lives up to its name again, with the Nashville EZX. I'm a drummer, so I'm not that interested in the MIDIs that come with the EZXs. I'm not all that into country, but the way I look at it this is a just another beautifully sampled drum kit that happened to be recorded in a Nashville studio. The sticked drums sound great, and in addition to sticks, you have brush and hand sounds to boot. Plus, there's a snare with the snares off, and matching tom samples, which makes a really nice-sounding "jungle" kit. There are two sticked cymbal types for each cymbal position, as well (in addition to the alternative strike samples). Due to all of this, the Nashville EZX provides a lot of value.
I think these samples can be used in a huge variety of settings, from the obvious country, to pop and rock. There are two types of ambience, which allow you to get everything from a very dry, to a very "big" sound. If you dry the sound out, I've think the samples are suitable even for Steely Dan type stuff (I'm trying to learn the Purdie shuffle, and this kit sounds good even as I struggle).
If you have EZDrummer, it's a no-brainer to add this EZX, as it improves upon the kit supplied with EZDrummer and offers so many additional sounds. I highly recommend it.

This was one of those "holy crap" needle in a haystack deal-of-the-decades on Amazon. Such an essential upgrade to the already complete sound arsenal that is EZ Drummer. I almost feel guilty for getting it so cheap through Carlolargo. It was at my house in 2 days after the order - quicker than my musicians friend order purchased the same day!! Disk was complete, shrink wrapped - BRAND NEW RETAIL!!! It even had a price sticker on it that was several times more than what I paid. Great product, great price, great seller!

I love this pack. Sticks with and without snare, fingers - I have used this pack with great success in a variety of projects, most of them NOT country-oriented!
