Product Description The Casio CTK2000 produces a wide variety of sound courtesy of the new AHL sound source. 400 tones plus 150 rhythms - ranging from pop/rock to global music - await the intrepid musician. The audio input is another practical feature - simply connect a CD or MP3 player and you will soon be playing along to your favourite song on the keyboard. To help you do this, the CTK2000 includes the new Step-Up learning system, whereby the practice piece is divided into individual sections and then learnt step by step.

Nice keyboard, but.... January 4, 2009 Bought this in Sept 08 for Xmas present for one of my kids. The keyboard sounds nice and has two speakers built in. I'm happy with the keyboard but there are many keyboards at this price point, so I would suggest people do their research for the features they desire. The stand is much more solid than I anticipated, so I was more than happy with the stand. However the headphones and adapter don't work. Mine was an RCA adapter, not yamaha as described and I'm past the return period. I don't like the idea of finding and spending an extra $15 for an adapter that works. I'm using 6 AA batteries for now. I still feel I got a good deal on the keyboard and stand alone for $99 w/free shipping, and I remain a loyal Amazon shopper. I don't like the idea that Amazon got away with sending me the wrong adapter and headphones that don't work that I can't return now. I guess Sept is too early to do Xmas shopping on Amazon, unless you're willing to open and test everything out, which I guess I should have done.
great keyboard but defective headphones December 16, 2008 The keyboard is fantastic but I bought it in a promotional package that included headphones. The latter was very disappointing and it was not functioning properly.

not exactly truthful disclosure or description November 5, 2008 12 out of 20 found this review helpful
A real piano has 88 keys, not 61. This keyboard does NOT have onboard speakers. Just headphones. You need speakers, even if you sometimes play with headphones bcs everyone else is asleep. If you are getting this for a child, the student MUST have sound that doesn't come thru speakers. mb
