i-pod touch January 8, 2009 Bought as a gift and teen was very pleased with it . As advertised .
I love the I-pod touch! January 8, 2009 I'd been wanting the I-phone, but once I found out I couldn't get away from the AT&T additional $30 rip off fee every month, I happily bought the I-pod touch. It has everything a girl needs to keep less things in her purse. It's skinny but big enough to hold comfortably in your hand. I already had a nano for my music, etc. but this is nicer to view and use.
Great Ipod, but.... January 8, 2009 This Ipod is really great and can do an amazing number of things with virtually no learning curve.
It could be even better with a couple of enhancements. 1. Allow use of SD cards. 2. Improve the keyboard feature. A real killer feature would be to add a USB port to access thumbdrives.
Overall, it's very slick and has impressive features, but I have an Ipaq that does more and runs Windows (mobile) with Word and Excel capability.
In comparing the Ipaq with the touch features, I find the Ipaq has programs that match those on the Touch and has some real applications that the Touch doesn't. Since a wireless capable Ipaq which used to sell for around $800 can now be found for about $100, I think it is the better buy.
The Touch is surely a "cooler" item to impress others but functionally can't equal a "pocket pc".
Best Christmas present EVER! January 8, 2009 I bought this 32g iPod Touch for my husband for Christmas, and it is PERFECT! He will find any excuse to show it off. The price was even better than Best Buy or the Apple store, it was in perfect, brand new condition, and it shipped quickly. The best part was how excited he was when he opened it! I'll definitely have to hint to him that now I want one!
I love this thing January 8, 2009 I'm very impressed by the iPod touch. The App store is amazing and I keep finding new things to do with it all the time!
